    You can download your Aadhaar card online through the UIDAI website (https://uidai.gov.in/). Here are the steps to download your Aadhaar card:


    1. Go to the UIDAI website and click on the “Download Aadhaar” link.
    2. Select Aadhaar Number for download aadhaar card.
    3. Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number, full name, and pin code as mentioned in your Aadhaar card. 
    4. Fill captcha for security reasons and You can either choose to receive a One-Time Password (OTP) on your registered mobile number or use a TOTP (Time-based OTP) app.
    5. After entering the OTP or TOTP, select the option to download your Aadhaar card.
    6. Your e-Aadhaar card will be displayed on the screen, which you can save as a PDF file and take a printout.
    7. Aadhar card remains password protected In the password, you will write the first four letters of your name in English capital and you will be able to open or print the Aadhaar by giving the year of birth. 
    8. Password Example: name Rajiv and DOB on aadhaar is 2 Jan 1994, then password is RAJI1994.


    Note: If you do not have a mobile number registered with UIDAI, you can request an Aadhaar card through post by visiting a nearest Aadhaar Enrollment Center.

    You can download your Aadhaar card using your Aadhaar Enrollment ID (EID) if you have not received your Aadhaar card or have lost it. Here are the steps to download your Aadhaar card using your Enrollment ID:


    1. Go to the UIDAI website (https://uidai.gov.in/).
    2. Click on the “Get Aadhaar” tab and select the “Download Aadhaar” option.
    3. For download aadhaar from Enrollment number select Enrollment number option and Enter your 14-digit Enrollment ID (EID) and the full name as mentioned in your Aadhaar card.

    5. You can choose to receive an OTP on your registered mobile number or use a TOTP app.
    6. After entering the OTP or TOTP, select the option to download your Aadhaar card.

    You can download your Aadhaar card using your Virtual ID (VID) if you do not want to share your Aadhaar number for security reasons. Here are the steps to download your Aadhaar card using your Virtual ID:

    If you do not have a mobile number registered with UIDAI, you can still download your Aadhaar card by following these steps:

    1. Go to the DigiLocker website (https://digilocker.gov.in/).
    2. Sign up for a DigiLocker account using your mobile number.
    3. Once you have signed up, click on the “Pull” option in the “Issued Documents” section.
    4. Select “UIDAI” from the list of issuing agencies.
    5. Enter your Aadhaar number and click on “Get One-Time Password”.
    6. Enter the OTP received on your mobile number.
    7. Your electronic Aadhaar card stored in DigiLocker will be displayed, which you can download and save as a PDF file.


    Note: To use the electronic Aadhaar card stored in DigiLocker as a valid proof of identity, it must be digitally signed by UIDAI.


    Download aadhaar card from Digilocker mobile app

    You can access your electronic Aadhaar card stored in DigiLocker using the mobile app by following these steps:

    1. Download the mAadhaar app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
    2. Open the app and register your Aadhaar number.
    3. After verifying your Aadhaar number, you will be able to access your Aadhaar card from the app.
    4. In the "Services" section, you have to select the "Download Aadhaar" option.
    5.  You will get two options "Masked Aadhaar" and "Regular Aadhaar".Select the base you want.
    6. Now you have to submit by entering the Aadhaar number and captcha.
    7.  Then OTP comes on your registered mobile. Verify by entering OTP.

    Masked Aadhaar - Your full Aadhaar number is not visible in the masked Aadhaar card. Only the last 4 digits of Aadhaar are shown on the Aadhaar card.

    Regular Aadhaar - Generally people download regular Aadhaar card. Full number of aadhaar card is shown in regular aadhaar

    You can also update your personal information, check the status of your Aadhaar card, and view your biometric and demographic information stored with UIDAI.

    • Send the message to 1947.
